These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Seeds & Squads (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Seeds & Squads app and services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be 18 years or older to use Seeds & Squads. The app arranges in-person meetups between people who live near each other; you must be a legal adult to take part. We age-gate before matching and will remove anyone we believe is under 18.
Seeds & Squads matches you into a small local “squad” and helps your squad meet in person. We facilitate introductions and meetups; we do not vet, background-check, or supervise members, and we are not responsible for the conduct of other users. Use your own judgement, meet in public, and tell someone where you're going.
Sign-in is by one-time email code. Keep access to your email secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information (including your age) and keep it current.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Seeds & Squads. You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
We may remove content and suspend or permanently ban any user, without notice, for violating these Terms. Serious matters may be reported to law enforcement.
We screen profile photos with automated moderation and show only approved photos. Every member can report and block any other member from within the app. We review reports and act on them — typically within 24 hours — including removing content and ejecting abusive users. To report someone, use the in-app report tool or email safety@seedsandsquads.com.
You keep ownership of the content you submit (your photo, profile, and messages). You grant us a limited licence to host and display it within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You're responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.
In-person meetings carry real-world risk. You are solely responsible for your safety when meeting other members. Meet in public places, and stop contact and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. We are not liable for the actions of members during or after meetups.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my account). We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited and we are not liable for the conduct of other users or for indirect or consequential loss.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
